By downloading, installing, or using LabForge ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

LabForge is an AI-powered iOS application that generates personalized homelab hardware configurations based on user preferences. The App provides:

• AI-generated hardware recommendations
• Configuration saving and management
• Export functionality (Pro subscribers)
• Custom parameters (Pro subscribers)

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Important: All hardware recommendations and configurations are generated by artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic). While we strive for accuracy:

• Recommendations are suggestions only, not professional advice
• Prices and product availability may vary and change over time
• You are responsible for verifying compatibility and specifications before purchasing
• LabForge is not liable for purchasing decisions based on AI recommendations

4. Affiliate Links & Product Recommendations

Amazon Associates Disclosure: LabForge is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites and apps to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

• When you click product links in the App and make purchases on Amazon, LabForge may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you
• Product recommendations are AI-generated and do not constitute endorsement by Amazon
• Prices displayed in the App are estimates; actual Amazon prices may vary
• Our affiliate relationship does not influence the AI-generated recommendations
• Affiliate links are clearly disclosed within the App near product listings

5. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
• One person may not maintain multiple free accounts

6. Subscription Terms

Free Tier

• 1 AI generation per day
• Basic features included
• No payment required

Pro Subscription

• 10 AI generations per day
• Custom parameters
• Export functionality
• Priority support

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• Manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings

Refunds

• Refund requests are handled by Apple per their App Store policies
• Contact Apple Support for refund inquiries

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or extract the AI models
• Share account credentials with others
• Submit malicious, harmful, or inappropriate content
• Circumvent usage limits or security measures
• Resell or redistribute generated configurations commercially

8. Intellectual Property

• The LabForge app, logo, and branding are owned by LabForge
• AI-generated configurations are provided for your personal use
• You may use generated configurations for personal or commercial homelab projects

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to data collection as described therein.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• LabForge is provided "AS IS" without warranties
• We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the App
• We are not responsible for third-party hardware purchases
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months

11. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
